"Classic" Jack Milburn is the new Beat The Champion

On Saturday March 2nd, a 6 man Gauntlet Match decided the new Beat the Champion following "Slim" Jim Brennan's undefeated victory in January. Competing were, in order of entry, Charlie Maine - Thomas Williams - Tommy Jupiter - Red Eagle - Abreu - "Classic" Jack Milburn.

Though Tommy Jupiter looked as though he was odds on to win this contest, the final hand raised in the Gauntlet was in fact the man from Newcastle, "Classic" Jack.

Jack's victory sees him head to the next event at Ruthin on Saturday March 23rd to defend is Beat the Champion run in a 2nd leg contest for his chance to win the £2000 prize money.
