“SLIM” JIM ON WINNING FORM

Ruthin was delighted to greet their favourite adopted son, in bright-red-clad attire, “SLIM” JIM BRENNAN of Bury [6’2”, 88kg] as he entered the ring on Saturday 15th June at Theatr John Ambrose.

His opponent, RYAN “ACE” of Newcastle [6’1”, 78kg] was not greeted with the same enthusiasm as “Slim” Jim. However, Ryan's wrestling talents were a fair challenge for “Slim” Jim to test himself after the tough battle Jim went through last month against Joshua Kemper.

Ryan “Ace” put up a valiant effort in a very sporting bout of wrestling, but ultimately to no avail. “Slim” Jim Brennan was the better wrestler on the night, pinning Ryan in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and winning the contest 2-0.

Upon being asked by the Master of Ceremonies, Dafydd Vaughan, Slim Jim told the cheering crowd that he was focusing on the British Heavy Middleweight Title. The contest for this championship has already begun, with “Slim” Jim Brennan looking forward to his first bout as a competitor in the near future.
