This months WRESTLING in RUTHIN will be on Saturday 28th of October 2023!
Returning in this months MAIN EVENT will be the defending BEAT THE CHAMPION holder, "SLIM" JIM BRENNAN, in his 2nd LEG of the Tournament. BRENNAN, and all of us, will not find out who is opponent is until the night itself. His opponent will be picked out of a hat from a lucky a Grapple Fan in the crowd, who for their contribution, will win 4 FREE TICKETS to the following months wrestling on Saturday NOVEMBER 25TH.
If BRENNAN wins at the end of the month he will add a further £200 to his prize purse and will go on to the 3rd LEG on NOVEMBER 25th. Once a minimum of £1000 is collected in his prize purse, BRENNAN will be given the option to either claim the £1000 purse or gamble it on a final 6th LEG opponent to double the prize purse and potentially win £2000!
However, a loss at any leg will result in the prize purse being taken back and BRENNAN will win nothing. In that event, the challenger will become the NEW BEAT THE CHAMPION and will have gained £200 towards their run on their 1st LEG as BEAT THE CHAMPION.
Also in attendance will be the UK and European Wrestling Commissioner, a 7 Mid-heavyweight World Champion and a Wrestling Statesman MR MARTY JONES.
